She’s Not That Into You: (for the Men) Just because a girl is nice to you (to men), it does not mean she is interested. It’s a hard thing to understand but most of the time girls (being how they are) will lead someone on without being interested. How you know that she is not interest is? well if- (1) When a girl is interested in someone they usually keep fixing their hair. If they don’t give a shit how they look when they are around you- they are not interested. (2) If they answer all your questions without asking you a question in return then they are definitely not interested. (3) If they do not answer aim, text, or facebook messages – they don’t want to start conversations with you (4) eye contact is key- during conversations there must be eye contact. ADVICE WHAT WOMEN WANT: (1) Maintain interest with someone (2) Do not seem needy- it turns girls off. (3) being well dressed is a good plus (4) laugh (5) Don’t be too “touchy” at first- by that I mean “contact” like hand holding, arm around the shoulder, etc freaks girls out. – but it has to be done in order to move the relationship along. Test it out do not “give out” too much contact at first- go little by little so that a girl does not have to think too much about “What did that mean?”- Guys don’t know this but girls analyze EVERYTHING I mean EVERYTHING- So whatever you say don’t screw it up! lol

It’s ok to have guilty pleasures. Everyone has them but no one admits to them. They are things that make you feel good that you rather people do not know. (If you are thinking dirty things right now leave this blog page lol) I am going to come clean with some of mine so that other people don’t feel that bad about theirs. (1) I watch Disney movies religiously (2) I will go to the supermarket just to buy a chocolate bar- (usually just once a month) (3) I rock out in my car to Hannah Montana (4) I wear slipper socks around my house (5) I own Darren’s Dance Grooves (6) I love Andre more than water (7) I wear sunglass even when its raining (8) I play with my Webkinz online (9) I take at minimum a 45 min shower (10) I put ketchup on 50% of my food Don’t’ judge everyone does weird things. I think you would have to be weird to be completely normal. Everyone has their inner child still in them somewhere. Live it! Don't try to hide them!

There many things that turns girls on besides looks and personality. (1) dancing. I don’t care if you think you can’t dance but who would not fall for a guy who could sweep you off your feet. I remember when I was down the shore with one of my friends and her boy friend came to stay with us. We played classy James Taylor music and he took her hand and started dancing with her. I don’t mean bumpin and grindin. I mean one hand around the waste and then twirling her with the other hand. If you are in a relationship with someone- (guys) take note: spin her around and dance with her and your will never loose her. You need a romantic or chill music? James Taylor is the way to go. It’s soothing and reminds me of the ocean. He is one of my faves. (“Fire and Rain” “Mexico” “Caroline I See You” “Sweet Baby James” ) Other things that “turns girls on” (2) a boy that can sing. (3) that can drive you around in his car (4) listening to you and remembering your conversations (5) thoughtfulness (6) being athletic and strong (7) ambitious. There are many more. It doesn’t take a lot to impress a girl, just remember the little things.

I am about to move out to LA for 2.5 months. I have no idea where I will be going or exactly what I am doing. I am working for Garry Marshall and I am really excited!! He is quite possibly doing a movie this summer so I will be able to work on set as well. I feel like everything is falling into place for me. I am still a little down on the fact that I will not see my friends or spend more time in the wonderful New Jersey. I figure that I need a little song to get me into the mood. Cali is going to be so different then the east coast. I feel like I am going to loose weight, doing nothing. I am going to actually weigh myself before I leave tomorrow and see if when I get back if there was any difference at the end of my trip. (lame I know). From what I hear California is the “healthy state.” I was brought up in Jersey where grease is the main ingredient in everything. When I think of the average person in LA I think of models. Do you want to be on top?

Why does everyone have to be so down on Titanic for? It is one of the best movies of all time. Since it was one of the best movies of the 90s, it got over talked about and Celine Dion’s song got over played. But now 10 years later a lot of us seem to forget that it has won the most academy awards of all time! You know you love those lyrics “Near, far, wherever you are. I believe that the heart does go on. Once more you open the door. And you're here in my heart. And my heart will go on and on.” The editing and special effects in it are magnificent! Whenever I watch it I get into the storyline and become emotionally tied to the actors. It truly is one of my favorite movies of all time and it should be for everyone who grew up in the 90s. If you have not seen it (cough cough Meredith Crowe) netflix it right away or hell go buy it at walmart for 7.99 because you will watch this movie whenever you want to enjoy great special effects or a great love story. The Notebook is the best chick flick ever. Whenever you are depressed, watch it. I am not a crier but I always tear at the end. Every girl wishes to find love like the two main characters. In reality this almost never happens. They don’t see one another for 7 years but their love still last all that time. Is that possible? YOU WISH! Being a film major I can say that this movie had an excellent set crew. Every scene has remarkable color and is visually very beautiful. The soundtrack just screams tear jerker! Check out this scene: Every girl wants a guy that they can be their selves around. Someone you can act totally psychotic with and it doesn’t even matter. Allie, in the movie, struggles to make a decision whether to go with the nice charming rich guy or the poor heart throb that makes her feel young and playful. Through out this whole movie I was just screaming “dumb bitch choose Noah! Duhhhh!” But the truth is girls always have to second-guess themselves to death, even when the right answer is so clear. Its what we do. We have no idea what we want. Go watch it now, you know you want to!

Suddenly people know my name. Suddenly everything has changed. Suddenly I feel so alive. In the blink of an eye. My dreams begin to rain. Suddenly time, feels like the wind. It changes everywhere I go . I'm just trying to fit in. Now here I stand. And I'm still just that girl. I'm following my heart. In this amazing crazy world. I like this song the "Tis" sings. Work hard to be who you want to be but make sure you are still the girl/boy who you started out as in life. When you catch a break in life be more mature and get yourself in the spotlight but make sure your lovable personality does not change. I am giving a shot out to the "Tis" raining from Monmouth County, New Jersey!!! Ashley Tisdale has not (yet) been in the media for doing something out of character. She is a great role model and is representing NJ in a possitive way!

I am turning 20 tomorrow...... I am shocked that I have been on this earth for 2 decades. Its gone by so fast.... I tried to think of my childhood today. Have I had the life that I have pictured? It took me a second to remember my life before high school..... What did I do? What was i like? What did I enjoy? I started just coming up with images- I remembered what i liked but I dont remember in great detail why.... This is what I came up with: My Childhood in the 90s.... This was my 1st decade and a half of my life! Don't get me started on the 2000s!

Ladies column of the day: How do you know you have found the perfect guy? Is it that guy you hooked up with a couple times in college? NO! Its not! Even though he seems to be the perfect match for you in everyway, you don't want him to be the one. The perfect guy is a guy who appreciates you and finds you interesting before the couple of beers he has. He shares interest with you and he laughs with you at things that are not even funny. Don't go for guys that you only see in the "drinking scene." BUT also don't try to go searching for that perfect guy. He will naturally come to you if you are outgoing enough. He will approach you because he finds you interesting and he will talk to you during class or (not when he is thinking about sex). Then it is your job to bring him to a bar and drink with him and see what happens. It is possible to have a prince charming or a McDreamy. Don't waste your heart on someone who will not look back at you the same way you look at them. If they are only looking at your chest.... say in your head or out loud "fuck off" and find someone who is not going to ditch you or talk to you the following week. I am not saying don’t randomly “hook up” with people, that’s fun! Lol but if you have actual feelings for someone realize that life is too short to waste it on booty calling assholes- but then again don't be waiting forever for someone- don't be shy, If you think a guy is cute go for it and talk to him- you may have may things in common.

Even though Miley Cyrus had a famous dad (Billy Ray), she still needed some talent to get to where she is today. Acting is HARD! Not only do you need to remember your lines, look good, and be your character but you also can’t break your act. I give her props for this audition tape. She was probably in a room filled with Disney exec board people and what was she 8 years old??? And her audition with her dad! I could never act with my dad and not crack up and lose character. Now Miley Cyrus is on every lunch box, back pack, and basically has a million things with her face on it. The question is, once she is old and grown out of Disney, can she be anything else but Hannah Montanna? Do you think she will peruse acting or singing? Will she be the next Carrie Underwood?

I wish my parents taught me another langue. If my grandfather were alive when I was born I would definitely have been taught Greek. Every time I see one of my friends get on the phone and speak something that is not English to their family, I get jealous. I want to be able to have a private conversation and not have to leave the room. Wouldn’t it be great to tell secrets or communicate with someone and not have to worry about who is ease dropping? Don’t you want to go back to the country that you are from and speak to the people? You can pretend……

When I was little I always thought of my self as Ariel from the little mermaid. I was definitely one of those kids who swam with their legs crossed pretending to be a mermaid. The Little Mermaid was the first movie I have ever seen in the movie theater, and since then I have called it my favorite Disney movie. However, every time I watch another Disney movie it also becomes another one of my top favorites. So I took another one of those online quizzes and this is what I got.
