All the seniors are leaving to start their new lives after college. They avoid their goodbyes with their friends till the last day of school. Will they have as good of friends where they will be going next? Will they keep in contact with their old friends? Are they ready to move on without them? The answer to these questions is absolutely YES. If you are good enough friends, you will keep in contact with them for as long as you want. If both sides can put the effort into your friendship you have nothing to worry about. You cannot dwell on goodbyes. You need to accept them and move on with your main goals in life. Follow your dreams and your friends that you leave will support you and keep in contact with you. You determine your future. Keep going forward and you will meet new friends and keep your old as well. The song is way over done but still hits you every time! Life will repeat itself- You may have to leave your very best friends when leaving middle school, high school, college, moving to a new home, getting a new job, etc. When I had to make a major life decision, I listen to this song a lot.
